The 2012 Boat, Sport & Travel Show has invited our Horseshoe Clubs back.
AHPA (American Horseshoe Pitchers Association), INHPA (Indiana National Horseshoe Pitchers Association) and Speedway Horseshoe Leagues will all be working together to promote Horseshoe Pitching in Indiana. All other Independent Leagues and Associations are invited and welcome to participate also.

The Boat, Sport & Travel Show only has a space 40’x25’ available at this time. That means we will only be able to set up a 30’ court. Yes, that means that 40’ pitchers will not be able to pitch at their full distance. For that, I am truly sorry. I am not sorry that the Boat, Sport & Travel Show is only able to give us that much space, at this time. They are a “for profit” business and if they can sell all of their booth space, that is what they have to do. The space that they do give to us is at a GREATLY reduced rate and we appreciate it.
What it gets down do is this, promoting Horseshoe Pitching. We will be able to do that with 30’ courts as well as we could with 40’ courts. Some pitchers will not be able to pitch as they would prefer, but they can still:
1. Help “man the booth” and talk to spectators about pitching.
2. Demonstrate pitching at a 30’ distance.
3. Contribute by being positive about this opportunity to help our sport.
Of course, all 30’ pitchers will be able to all of those things also. This is a special situation for the 30’ pitchers.

All pitchers get in free and are welcome to visit the rest of the show when not “manning the booth”.
Pitchers can help as much or as little as they wish.
We ask that with the free admittance, each pitcher commit to at least a couple of hours of “manning the booth”.
