I have had a problem with the room reservations. We no longer have rooms available at Courtyard. We have been able to arrange rooms at the Garden Inn for a good price. It is a nice place that has recently gone independent. The price is $56,that includes tax and breakfast. It is located on US 31 south next to the Olive Garden and near Lowes.Their phone number is 765-455-1000.
                         Rooms are also available at Motel 6. There price is $35.99 for a single and $41.99 for a double. Their phone number is 765-457-8211. The Motel 6 is located on the US 31 bypass close to the Chrysler and GM plant.
 
                         These room are all held till Thursday evening and please tell them that you are with the horseshoe tourney. Please help to pass this info along to our members.

DIRECTIONS TO KOKOMO HIGHLAND PARK HORSESHOE COURTS

From the East on US 35 or IN 22 go into town to US 31(Washington St.) and turn south to the 1st traffic light and turn West on Defenbaugh St., Highland park is 4 blocks down. The courts are on your left when you enter the park.

From the east using IN 26 go past US 31 aprox. 1 mile and take County Rd. 100 W (Park Rd.) north aprox. 3 mile and it runs into Highland Park. The road will curve to your right and when you get to a stop sign turn left. The courts will be on your right.
 
From the West using IN 26 turn on County Rd. 100 W (Park Rd). go north aprox. 3 mile and it runs into Highland Park. The road will curve to your right and when you get to a stop sign turn left. The courts will be on your right.
 
From the North using US 31 stay on old 31 (don' take the bypass) and go through the uptown area. Stay on US 31 when US 35 turns left and go to the  1st traffic light and turn West on Defenbaugh St., Highland park is 4 blocks down. The courts are on your left when you enter the park.
 
From the south using using US 31 go to IN 26 and go west to County Rd. 100 W  (Park Rd.) go north aprox. 3 mile and it runs into Highland Park. The road will curve to your right and when you get to a stop sign turn left. The courts will be on your right.
